National Unity Day was celebrated with great patriotic zeal in our school to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel - The Iron Man of India. The day began with a Special Assembly organised by the students of Classes VII and VIII. The programme started with a prayer and the National Unity Pledge. Ayushi Pandey of Class VII delivered an eloquent speech on the significance of National Unity Day and the invaluable contribution of Sardar Patel in uniting the nation. A vibrant role-play activity was presented by the tiny tots of Balvatika-1 and KG. Dressed in colourful traditional attires, they gave a state-wise presentation representing different states of India. The presentation also included Bharat Mata and symbols of all four major religions, beautifully depicting the spirit of "Unity in Diversity." A soulful group song by the students of Classes VII and VIII added a patriotic flavour to the celebration.

The programme was concluded with an inspiring speech by our Respected MD Sir, who motivated the students to stay united and uphold the unity and integrity of the nation. Later in the day, to encourage creative expression, a Drawing Competition and an Essay Writing Competition were organised for Classes V to VIII on various topics related to National Unity. The day truly reinforced the message - United We Stand, Divided We Fall.
