Under the guidance of Ms. Sundari Godra and Ms. Harpreet Kaur, the students of Classes V and VI organized an informative and engaging program on the Display of Segregation of Dustbins and its Usage. The event aimed to spread awareness about waste management and the importance of keeping the environment clean through effective waste segregation.
The highlight of the program was a PowerPoint Presentation prepared and presented by the students themselves. Adding a creative touch, Arya Mishra, a student of Class VI, presented a thought-provoking poem on the topic.
This was followed by a skit, where the students vividly depicted the importance and process of segregating waste through green, blue, black and red dustbins.
A pledge was taken by the students encouraging everyone to commit to waste segregation and environmental responsibility in their daily lives.
The event also included a questionnaire session, where students from the audience actively participated and answered all the questions confidently, demonstrating their awareness and involvement in the topic.
The Managing Director of the school graced the occasion and appreciated the students for their confidence, clarity of thought, and strong oratory skills.
Overall, the program was a successful blend of education and creativity, and it effectively conveyed the importance of responsible waste management to the young learners.
