World Hand Hygiene Day was celebrated in David Model Public Junior High School on 5th May with great vigour to promote the importance of cleanliness and personal hygiene among students.
A special workshop was organized for students from Nursery to Class II. Through engaging activities and demonstrations, the young learners were taught the correct method of washing their hands, especially before meals. The interactive session helped instill healthy habits in an enjoyable manner.
Students from Classes III to VIII participated in awareness sessions conducted by their class teachers. These sessions focused on the proper steps of hand washing and discussed the vital role of hygiene in maintaining good health. Teachers also explained how clean hands help prevent the spread of germs and diseases.
The event was a success, reinforcing essential hygiene practices and encouraging students to incorporate them into their daily routines.
