Raksha Bandhan, a festival that celebrates the cherished bond between brothers and sisters, was celebrated with great zeal and cultural fervor in our school on 7th August, 2025.
The day began with a morning assembly attended by students of Classes VI to VIII, where a student from Class VI delivered a heartfelt speech highlighting the importance of Raksha Bandhan and its deep-rooted cultural and emotional significance. The speech helped everyone understand the values of love, protection, and familial bonding that the festival represents.
The Nursery and Kindergarten students arrived in colorful casual dresses, adding a splash of brightness to the atmosphere. In a delightful moment, girls tied Rakhi to boys, and in return, the boys offered tokens of love, symbolizing their promise to protect and care for their sisters.
A special highlight of the celebration was when the Pre-Primary wing students tied Rakhi to the Managing Director (M.D.) of the school, making the moment even more memorable and inclusive.
Adding to the festive spirit, the school had also organized a week-long Eco-friendly Rakhi Making Activity across all classes leading up to the celebration. This initiative not only encouraged creativity but also instilled in students the importance of sustainability and environmental care.
The day was filled with joy, learning, and cultural pride. Through these celebrations, the students gained a deeper understanding of our rich heritage, cultural traditions, and societal values.
