The Pre-Primary Wing of our school celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and devotion, showcasing the vibrant spirit of Indian culture and mythology. The event commenced with a traditional inauguration by the School Manager, Shri Ramvir Singh Ji, who lit the ceremonial diya in front of the beautifully adorned idol of Kanha ji, marking the beginning of the auspicious celebration.
A delightful dance drama was presented by the talented students of Class II, depicting significant events from Lord Krishna’s life. The drama showcased his divine birth, the heroic Kaliya Daman, the affectionate bond between Mata Yashoda and Krishna, and the heartwarming Krishna-Sudama friendship. The young performers captivated the audience with their graceful expressions and spirited performances.
One of the major highlights of the celebration was the Jhula Darshan, where students of Class KG, dressed as Radha and Krishna, created a picture-perfect moment. Their innocence and charm won the hearts of all present and added to the festive atmosphere.
The event was graced by the presence and appreciation of many parents, who applauded the efforts of the young ones and the teachers for putting together such a culturally enriching program. The entire celebration was a beautiful reminder of the importance of imparting knowledge about our rich heritage, traditions, and mythology to the younger generation in joyful and engaging ways.
