Earth Day Celebration

The first event of the new academic session 2025-26 was marked by a vibrant and meaningful Special Assembly on Earth Day, celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of Classes IV and V. The assembly began with a thought-provoking speech delivered by Aarushi, a student of Class V-C, emphasizing the importance of caring for our planet and making sustainable choices in everyday life. This was followed by a beautiful English poem recitation by Laranya Ujjainwal of Class IV-B, which touched the hearts of the audience with it's message of love and responsibility towards nature. Next, Aarya Jha of Class V-B recited a Hindi poem, further enriching the program with its poetic appeal and environmental message. One of the highlights of the assembly was an English skit presented by the talented students of Classes IV and V. The skit was both educative and entertaining, using trendy rap music to creatively share powerful messages about saving the Earth. The engaging performance was thoroughly enjoyed by the students and conveyed the theme in a fun and relatable manner. The Managing Director of the school appreciated the students and teachers for their hard work and creativity, acknowledging their efforts in making the event a grand success.

Beyond the assembly, several other engaging activities took place across different classes:

  • Nursery and KG students showcased their creativity by making Earth Day posters using freehand painting.
  • Class II-C prepared and presented a skit focused on environmental awareness.
  • Class III students crafted paper bags using newspapers and decorative materials, promoting the idea of reusing and recycling.
  • Students from Classes VI to VIII contributed by creating handmade items from waste materials, turning trash into treasure.

Overall, the assembly was a knowledgeable and enjoyable experience that left everyone inspired to contribute positively to the environment. It was a wonderful start to the new session!
