Diwali Celebration

The festival of lights, Diwali, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and festive spirit in our school on 18th October, 2025. To mark this auspicious occasion, a series of joyful and meaningful activities were organized throughout the day.

The celebration began with a special morning assembly highlighting the significance of Diwali. This was followed by a Laxmi–Ganesh Pooja conducted by the Pre-Primary Wing, invoking blessings of prosperity and happiness. After the pooja, selected students from Classes VI to VIII, along with their House Leaders, participated in a vibrant Rangoli Competition. Their creative and colourful designs beautifully captured the essence of the festival. The results were as follows:

• 1st Position: Blue House
• 2nd Position: Green House
• 3rd Position: Red House & Yellow House (tie)

In Nursery class, tiny tots showcased their artistic talent by preparing a huge paper lamp (Diya) decorated beautifully with their thumb and palm impressions. Students of classes KG, I and II also participated enthusiastically in diya decoration activities, illuminating the school with lights and colours.

Adding to the festive charm, students of Classes I and II presented “Bal Ramayan” on 17th October. Their performance was heart-warming and received huge appreciation from everyone present. To spread an important environmental message, students of Classes III to VIII presented an impressive PowerPoint Presentation on “Anti Fire Crackers” on 15th October and 18th October respectively. Through this, they highlighted the harmful effects of firecrackers on health and the environment. The celebration concluded with students taking an oath to celebrate a Green Diwali, pledging not to burst crackers and to be responsible citizens of India. The entire celebration was a perfect blend of tradition, creativity and awareness, making it a memorable and meaningful Diwali for everyone.
