As part of the Eco Club Activity and in alignment with the monthly theme "How to Save Mother Earth", two creative competitions were organized in the school – a Colouring Contest for class I on 25th April and a Freehand Painting Competition for class II on 26th April. These events were conducted to raise environmental awareness among young learners and to encourage them to express their thoughts on protecting our planet through art. The theme was thoughtfully chosen, as April marks the celebration of Earth Day on 22nd April. Throughout the month, various eco-friendly activities were planned and executed by the Eco Club, and these art-based competitions added a vibrant and imaginative dimension to the campaign.
The students showcased remarkable creativity and artistic skills. A special mention must be made of the efforts of the class teachers and the Art & Craft teacher, who guided and motivated the children throughout the process. Their support and encouragement played a key role in bringing out the best in these budding artists. Overall, the competitions were a great success and served as a meaningful way to educate and inspire students about environmental conservation through the power of art.
